Meet Chang, a 3- to 4-year-old, male Lhasa Apso mix. He was brought to us from a shelter where he was abandoned. He is a sweet boy who wants to be the centre of your world. He is the ultimate lap dog and loves to cuddle. He knows how to walk on a leash. He is not particularly fond of men but will eventually ease up to them with proper introduction. He would do well in a house where he is the only dog.

He has mild hip dysplasia. He is vaccinated, dewormed and neutered. He requires grooming so a house with access to groomers is a must.

Chang needs a home that:

• understands his breed’s grooming needs
• has access to private veterinary care and behaviours or trainers (if required)
• can provide a non-vegetarian diet
• has no other pets
• can provide him with the guidance he needs and deserves to be the best boy and loyal companion
