LOVE needs a home!

Meet Love, a happy, healthy 6-month-old male Golden Retriever puppy. Love’s story is a reminder that good intentions are not always enough. He was given as a gift to someone who welcomed him with affection but soon realised they were not prepared for the commitment that comes with raising a puppy. Wanting the best for him, they reached out to find him a home where he can grow up loved, understood, and cared for. He is affectionate, playful, and full of typical Golden Retriever enthusiasm. Love thrives on companionship and cannot be left alone for long periods. He needs a family that has people at home for much of the day and is prepared for the time, patience, and consistency that raising a young puppy requires. Love would do best in a home that understands that puppies are a long-term commitment. He is still learning household manners and will need continued guidance with toilet training, teething, and basic obedience. With the right family, he will grow into a wonderful companion. Like any puppy his age, he is still teething, learning, and discovering the world around him. He is dewormed, partly vaccinated, and partly toilet trained. He is not neutered at the moment due to his age and would be required to be neutered at the appropriate time and age. Love requires a home that:
    • has experience with working breeds, especially Golden Retrievers and understands that he is a high-energy, intelligent dog who will thrive with structure, consistency, and proper guidance
    • has prior puppy experience and has the time, patience and commitment to raise a young puppy
    • has access to good groomers, private veterinary care and trainers or behaviourists
    • will continue his training, including toilet training with positive reinforcement and consistency
    • will ensure that his remaining vaccinations are complete as per the existing schedule and commit to routine vet check ups
    • understand and can manage normal puppy behaviours, including teething and chewing and will train him to ween of these behaviours properly
    • will not leave him alone for long hours since he is still a puppy and can provide plenty of companionship and consistent socialization
    • provide him with a non-vegetarian diet and will feed him home-cooked meals
    • are prepared for the energy, training, and commitment required to raise a golden retriever puppy into a well-adjusted adult dog
    • will treat him as a valued family member for the rest of his life
Love is not just looking for a home but for a family that understands the responsibility of puppyhood and is ready to make a lifelong commitment. 📍Location: Thane
