Meet Max and Daisy – two young stunning 1.5 year old purebred golden Labradors with the gentlest souls you will ever meet. Dogs who were once brought into a home with love, only to be abandoned on a terrace – left tied and forgotten in the scorching Mumbai heat and now, the relentless monsoons.

 

No dog deserves this.

 

For months, they have endured isolation and neglect – no roof, no bed, no affection. Just a chain and the sound of rain. But somehow, they have held on – to hope, to each other, and to their unwavering love for humans.

 

• Max is a golden male Labrador – friendly, goofy, and a total teddy bear.

• Daisy is a golden female Labrador – sweet, trusting, and full of quiet warmth.

• They are extremely friendly with humans and other dogs – they light up when spoken to and wag their tails even for strangers.

• They are not siblings, but after months of hardship together, they have become inseparable. We would love to home them together – though in truly exceptional cases, we may consider separate adoptions.

 

• A warm, indoor home where they are treated as family – no chaining, no caging, no isolation ever again.

• Regular walks, gentle training, basic discipline, and time – they are eager to learn and eager to love.

• A meat-based diet and good nutrition to rebuild strength after months of neglect.

• Proper veterinary care – vaccines, checkups, and routine grooming.

• Access to long walks and lots of daily affection.

 

• Someone kind, committed, and patient – ideally experienced with large breeds, or willing to learn.

• A family that understands the trauma of abandonment and wants to heal it – not pity it.

• A home where they are never alone for long hours, and where they’ll be given all the emotional security they’ve been denied.

• Families with children, working-from-home setups, or retirees will be perfect.
