Meet Mishti, a 1.5-year-old Lhasa Apso mix. Mishti came to us from a shelter with her sister. While her sister has been adopted, Mishti is still waiting for her forever home.

Mishti is a gentle, happy go-lucky little girl who adores people. She has a lovely temperament and is the kind of dog who will quietly become a part of your everyday life before you even realise how much you’ve come to love her. Mishti is indifferent to other dogs, but when it comes to people, she has plenty of affection to give. She enjoys human company and would thrive in a home where she can receive the attention and companionship she deserves.

She is vaccinated, dewormed and spayed.

Mishti needs a home that:

• • has experience with small breeds, especially Lhasa Apso’s or Shitzu’s and understands the breed’s temperament and needs
  • is willing to give her time and space to settle in at her own pace and can provide a calm and stable home
  • will commit to training and can provide a structured lifestyle
  • has access to good groomers, private veterinary care and trainers or behaviourists
  • can provide a non-vegetarian diet
  • is warm, loving and patient and will include her in their daily life and give her the attention and companionship she loves
