Meet Sasha, a sweet 1.5-year-old Beagle girl who is looking for her forever home!

Sasha was previously abandoned at a shelter. Despite her past, she is incredibly gentle, loving, and affectionate. She is good with other dogs and loves humans. She is a typical Beagle; curious and playful. Since Beagles have unique breed-specific needs, Sasha requires a home that fully understands her care requirements and is ready for a long-term commitment. She cannot be left alone (unless trained to do so for short periods of time) and requires ample companionship.

She does have a mild dry eye condition which can be easily managed by the administration of routine eye drops. She also has a skin condition near her paws, as is usually the case with Beagles. This too can easily be managed through administration of appropriate medication.

She is vaccinated and dewormed.

Sasha needs a home that:

• • has experience with working breeds, especially Beagles and understands the breed’s temperament and needs
  • is willing to give her time and space to settle in at her own pace and can provide a calm and stable home
  • will commit to training and can provide a structured lifestyle
  • understands that the breed can be stubborn at times and will be patient with her
  • understands her medical requirements and is willing and able to provide the care and attention she needs to get better
  • has access to good groomers, private veterinary care and trainers or behaviourists
  • can provide a non-vegetarian diet
  • will not leave her alone for extended periods of time
  • is warm, loving and patient and will include her in their daily life and give her the attention and companionship she loves
